Hey Fingal, it all sounds amazing. One of mine which is a bit humdrum but i’ve never got around to doing it is to make a baked alaska! (the cake with ice cream baked in it). Isla x
Posted by Isla | 04/04/2012, 20:20that’s a good one Isla, never thought about cooking accomplishments.
Mine would be créme brulee with the blow torch, browned caramelized top.
Posted by thealmostorganictraveller | 04/04/2012, 21:47Good list. A friend of mine when travelling in Europe used to go to a bus station and just catch the next bus with a destination that was a word he least he understood. Got to some real out-of-the-way places.
By the way, happy birthday for a couple of days ago!
Posted by Joy Window | 04/04/2012, 22:45I included one of your friends blogs on the page as one of my inspirations.
And thanks for the birthday wishes…
Posted by thealmostorganictraveller | 04/04/2012, 23:57I made a list of my own a couple months ago. It’s not anywhere as extensive as yours, but it makes me look forward to each and every day finding ways to complete my list. The furthest my travel goes is to catch the lite rail to downtown Denver and attend a play. But it is something I haven’t done and would like to. Good luck with your list and enjoy! I know I am.
Posted by grandmajudiann | 05/04/2012, 00:00No bucket list is ever too long or to short, as long as it has what you wish to accomplish on it, thats all that matters. Good luck with it…
Posted by thealmostorganictraveller | 05/04/2012, 00:08Thanks! You too.
Posted by grandmajudiann | 05/04/2012, 05:35Getting started in juggling is easy. I taught one friend the basic 3 ball cascade in half an hour once upon a time. Carrying three soft juggling balls in your backpack is a great idea. Any time you need to stretch, or relax, or get grounded again, you whip them out and juggle til you rhythm evens out and your heart-rate settles. Less annoying to sleeping friends than wailing on a tin whistle.
I have three juggling clubs sitting in a bucket under my workbench. I haven’t used them for years as I found I preferred balls. You are welcome to them if you ever find your way back home from your traveling adventures. Club juggling is much more dramatic for spectators, but ball juggling is much more intimate and relaxing for me.
